"I am the Rose not picked The one left to wither on the vine And oh, how i envy the others Not a thorn on the stem, Not a petal Fallen Yet.... I am the Rose, unique, For I know when I've done wrong And never blame or lie to cover a thorn I drop the petals I do not deserve And feel for every other flower
So why, why, Are roses picked? To show inner beauty, with outer beauty? Oh, i do not understand.
A flake falls, then another. Finally I do too.
And a thornless rose grows in my place"
A thorn represents a flaw and a petal loss represents a sin. The rose falling represents death, and the rose that blooms from the spot represents how good at heart the person was (In other terms, went to heaven or hell) And a flake is obviously a snowflake.
The art is supposed to be simple to represent abstract values represented by concrete.
